This past week I've been in sort of a weird creative funk; we artists get that way from time to time. Perils of the trade I suppose. And when I saw this today it totally made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. So if you are also in need of a good warm fuzzy feeling here you go :)

Megan + Aaron

YEAH!!! I am so so so excited to post these photos up for you guys to see! Joe and I were super excited to go down to Tubac Golf Resort for Megan + Aaron's wedding.  I knew Megan was going to do an amazing job planning the wedding, but I was blown away when we got there and saw all the little details she had planned out. Not to mention that her color scheme was so different and  beautiful!

We started out at the hair salon at the golf resort, I so love this image of one of Megan's bridesmaids looking for a hairstyle...

And her dress was gorgeous and fit her personality to a "T" :)

Then we headed back to Megan's room where she did her make-up and did an amazing job...

Megan had planned to have an outdoor tent reception on the grass, but the weather turned so cold they were forced to move it inside, they made it look so gorgeous in there!

Sleepwalking Fail

So Joey and I are in LOVE with a blog called the "Fail Blog". It is frreaking hilarious, and if you haven't already checked it out at one time or another you should stop whatever you are doing and look at it RIGHT NOW! However I would suggest not having any sort of liquid in your mouth at the time of viewing.

So anyway the other night we were checking it out, looking at some of the newest postings and saw this video they had put up on there. We laughed so hard I almost peed my pants... no joke...

So I just HAD to share lol... hope this brings a smile to your face...

Cortney + Jay

I am so excited to show these to you guys! I did Cortney + Jay's engagement session back in January and totally forgot to post some images! We had so much fun and they were totally up for anything.

Ok so this is pretty cool... these next image were taken where Jay proposed. Out at Gates Pass, there is this little hut on the side of the mountain and Jay hiked up all these flowers and proposed there. So we just HAD to go back and take some pictures where it all began. On the inside of the hut people write all over and so when they got engaged they wrote their names too. Since then some people have written over it a little but if you look closely you can still see their names, the date and them my favorite part... "I love him"... so awesome!


I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of this photo...




The view was breathtaking up there...

Inspiring Thursdays - Rodney Smith

I'm so excited to be doing these again more because it forces me to look for and find new inspiration everywhere. And while doing a recent google search for something I happened to stumble upon an image by Rodney Smith. I was instantly drawn to the image and just had to see more of his work to see if it was similar. I was so amazing when I looked at his website! Every photograph was so simplistic yet dynamic at the same time. Needless to say I am now in LOVE with his work. Jeremy + Vanessa

So as you might have noticed the blog got a bit of a facelift! I'm super excited about how it turned out! And with the facelift comes bigger photos! Yeah!!! So fun...

To officially kick off the new blog facelift, I thought I'd put up some photos from Jeremy and Vanessa's super fun wedding! These two are such an amazing couple Joey and I had a blast with them!

I meet up with Vanessa early in the day to take some pic's of her getting ready...

Then we took off downtown for their first look which they decided to do at La Placita... her maid of honor was putting on the finishing touches to her outfit for the big reveal...


I so love the look on Jeremy's face when he saw his bride, priceless...


Vanessa was so much fun to photograph, she was a great little model...

The ceremony was held at the church that Jeremy is a pastor at, and during the service they sang to each other. But as luck would have it poor Vanessa lost her voice the day of the wedding and could barley talk so Jeremy serenaded his beautiful bride instead... :)

The reception was beautiful and emotional...
