Playing With Texture :)
Texture is an old film trick where you would lay two negatives on top of each when printing, so that they kind of mingled together in the final print. This has really come full circle and become very popular of late in the digital age and so I thought I would give it a go on some of the pictures from Mark and Christy's wedding. I really love the old vintage look it gives the pictures and I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of this from me in the future! I'M HOOKED!!!!

Christy + Mark's Purple Extravaganza
This past weekend Joey and I had the pleasure of photographing Mark and Christy's beautiful wedding at La Mariposa. Mark and Christy are probably two of the sweetest people we have met in a long time. After meeting with them to talk about the wedding, then doing their E-Session in Bisbee, we have gotten the chance to know and love these two very much. So without any more ado... LETS SEE SOME PICS!!!!
Some details to start things off:
Getting all spruced up:
And having a good time too!:
Isn't she pretty?!
Of course the guys didn't look to shabby either!
The day was a bit overcast but still very beautiful:
Christy and Mark just couldn't hold back the tears as she came down the isle:
But then they were all smiles:
Yeah! We're Married!
I think these are my two favorites from the day:
Some reception details:
Mark and Christy LOVE wine, so they marked each table with a different bottle, this was the one on their sweetheart table :)
And now... all the other reception stuff:
Sometimes, if you get really lucky Joey and I will swing dance. This is him flipping me around his back... Oh and the other one is Joe AKA "The Photo Ninja"
Thank you so much Mark and Christy for letting us be a part of your special day!

Glow
It is only when my soul lights from within and every fiber of my being glows with my very essence that I can be reborn for the next stage of life I must embark upon. Twisting and writhing my way out of the past and freeing myself from all expectations of who I should be. Only then am I finally free to be me.
Just wanted to share some photos that I've been doing for my photo class at the U of A this fall :)
