Jordan + Miriam • E-Session

Ahhh!!! I feel like it's been forever since I posted any of my own pictures! But, I finally put the finishing touches on Jordan and Miriam's pictures and I am super stoked to share them with you! I'm also super excited about their wedding later this year since it will be my first Jewish ceremony... I can't wait!

Anyway, here are some of my favorite pics from their e-session

We started off at De Grazia I just love the light in this room!

Then we headed over to the historic Arizona Inn for some photos where I learned two things about Miriam... she like's bright colors and LOTS of flowers! :)

I think these two might be my favorites from the day...

After that we went downtown for just a couple shots... Miriam had the cutest little outfits all day long!

And finished up the day at the Jewish Community Center

Thanks for looking :)

Update On Angela...

Surgery went well and they removed a tennis ball sized tumor from her brain. Everything went great, she is recovering quickly, however, the tumor was cancerous and the doctors are going to be starting her on radiation. Please keep them in your prayers...

Jenna + Cody's Sneak Peak Video...

Ok... so I know there are a lot of sneak peaks for this wedding, but I just HAD to share this awesome little video from their wedding done by my favorite videographer's Reel Mccoy Productions. It may take a minute or two to load, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Check it OUT!!!

WARNING: Make sure to go to the bottom of my blog and turn off my music before you start the video, that way it won't be all jumbled and yucky

Isn't that amazing!

Happy Anniversary To Us :)

Joey and celebrated our 3rd anniversary today! I can't believe how fast time flies when you're having fun!

Here are some pictures from our big day by Chris Marchetti:

The girls's trying to tame all my tulle...

I wish I had a photo of Joe's and my Dad's face when I shared my grand idea to hang all the tulle from the ceiling of the church...

We had the most awesome 1956 red chevy convertible get away car...

I can't believe how blonde I am in all these photos I'm so used to seeing myself all dark haired lately!

Handsome hubby...

Look how long his hair was then!

lookin' all GQ in this one...

I had a bit of an "America's next top model complex" on our wedding day...

So... funny story... those panty hose I'm wearing, I totally forgot to buy before the wedding and on the way to the church it dawns on me that I forgot to get them... so we had to run into the store and buy some really quickly on our way.

This is our favorite wedding pic...

We like to call this one our Russian KGB bride and groom picture...

Cake... and no... there was no face smashing...

Our fun choreographed wedding dance we learned... it's funny though because in all our photos you can see how hard we're concentrating on getting it right...

Anyway :) Happy anniversary Joey dearest! I love you more than words could ever express!

Please Pray...

Hey all :) Just wanted to make a quick shout out for a prayer request for my brother-in-law. He recently got engaged to the girl of his dreams and we couldn't be more excited for them.

However his fiancé Angela has been having bad headaches for a while now and finally went in for an MRI, after the test the doctors came back and told them that she has a large tumor on her brain...

They are headed to PHX as we speak to get further testing done as St. Joseph's so please keep them in your prayers.

Angela has a little 8 year old girl as well...

Thanks all, I'll keep you posted as we find out more.

*UPDATE*

Ok so the doctors at St. Joseph's were able to rush Angela in and put her in ICU tonight to prep her for surgery tomorrow. Please, Please, Please keep them in your prayers tomorrow.

~ Inspiring Thursdays ~

Richard Avedon

Richard Avedon is probably one of the worlds most well know fashion photographers, and his eye for simple timeless compositions give his images an impact that few photographers can boast of. Through his life he photographed everything from movie stars, to fashion models, to homeless people. He's done portraiture, fashion, photojournalism, and fine art photography. And I can safely say that he inspires me... but you can decide for yourself...

You can see more of he work at The Richard Avedon Foundation

Ok so this past couple weeks I got the opprotunity to photograph the art work in a forth coming story for Tucson Guide Magazine. I had a lot of fun running around to the different stores and picking out items to photograph. Here is just a sampling of some of the photos we took for the article... I'll make sure to post up the issue when it comes out! I'm so excited!

• A Bridal Shower For Kasie •

I'm sure many of you already know, but for those who don't, my lil sis Kasie is getting married! And I am super stoked to be her matron of honor... so... this past saturday I threw her a bridal shower up in Prescott at my parents house out in the woods. It was awesome to escape the Tucson heat for a couple days. I also was able to photograph a small wedding for a girlfriend of mine while I was up there, but those pics will have to wait :)

Here are some photos me and my mom snagged from the shower...

Me and lil sis :)

Etani + Jesica

Yes, I know... this post is a bit long over due. I've just been swamped with TONS of work lately and everything is taking a bit longer than usual. However! I finally put the finishing touches on Jesica + Etani's photos and just had to share some of them with you. They turned out so awesome! Let me know what you think :)

Jesica and Etani have been married for 8 years, but because of his job have only been together for about 4 of them, Jesica contacted me and I was able to snag a few photos of them together while he was back home for a couple weeks. We decided to start out in wedding garb since there photographer didn't get many good shot of them on their wedding day (see why it's important to hire a good photog in the first place!) and then we got more casual for a fun portrait shoot downtown.

I also had the awesome blessing of having Stuart Mattingly come along with me and second shoot/ hold stuff / be my human ladder... since Joey couldn't come along. THANK YOU STUART! But anyway... enough babbling here are the photos :)

Jesica did such a good job modeling! Isn't she gorgeous!?!?

Love this! Oh wait... I love them all :p

This just might be my new all time favorite portrait photo...

Jesica has such an amazing smile...
