I am so excited to show these to you guys! I did Cortney + Jay's engagement session back in January and totally forgot to post some images! We had so much fun and they were totally up for anything.

Ok so this is pretty cool... these next image were taken where Jay proposed. Out at Gates Pass, there is this little hut on the side of the mountain and Jay hiked up all these flowers and proposed there. So we just HAD to go back and take some pictures where it all began. On the inside of the hut people write all over and so when they got engaged they wrote their names too. Since then some people have written over it a little but if you look closely you can still see their names, the date and them my favorite part... "I love him"... so awesome!


I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of this photo...




The view was breathtaking up there...

Inspiring Thursdays - Rodney Smith

I'm so excited to be doing these again more because it forces me to look for and find new inspiration everywhere. And while doing a recent google search for something I happened to stumble upon an image by Rodney Smith. I was instantly drawn to the image and just had to see more of his work to see if it was similar. I was so amazing when I looked at his website! Every photograph was so simplistic yet dynamic at the same time. Needless to say I am now in LOVE with his work. Then he also has some more fashion looking images that really capture me as well, and I mean come on this shot on top the taxi cabs is freaking AMAZING!

Jeremy + Vanessa

So as you might have noticed the blog got a bit of a facelift! I'm super excited about how it turned out! And with the facelift comes bigger photos! Yeah!!! So fun...

To officially kick off the new blog facelift, I thought I'd put up some photos from Jeremy and Vanessa's super fun wedding! These two are such an amazing couple Joey and I had a blast with them!

I meet up with Vanessa early in the day to take some pic's of her getting ready...



I love this shot...


And you already know how much I <3 mirror shots!


Then we took off downtown for their first look which they decided to do at La Placita... her maid of honor was putting on the finishing touches to her outfit for the big reveal...


I so love the look on Jeremy's face when he saw his bride, priceless...


Vanessa was so much fun to photograph, she was a great little model...

They are such a happy couple...




The ceremony was held at the church that Jeremy is a pastor at, and during the service they sang to each other. But as luck would have it poor Vanessa lost her voice the day of the wedding and could barley talk so Jeremy serenaded his beautiful bride instead... :)


Ok so I have to say... I really like this ring shot...


The reception was beautiful and emotional...

Vanessa - Hitched & Haute

I just realized I totally forgot to share a few of these photos I took of Vanessa at the end of last year up on Mt. Lemmon. We had so much fun and got some great pics. It was chilly and Vanessa was a trooper! Here are just a few of my favs :)

Lori + JT

A couple years back Joey was working for a Pool company here in Tucson, and he had the pleasure of meeting Lori and who also worked there and they soon became fast friends. Through the years we've kept in touch and when her boyfriend JT popped the question last year we were super stoked when they asked us to photograph their wedding! We had a blast out on their engagement session and found some really great spots to take photos. They were troopers and let me do whatever I wanted to try. Although I have to tell you I know I went a little black and white crazy on this post lol... I promise we got tons of amazing color images too, these ones just spoke to me... maybe I'm still in black and white mode from my art project lol.
