Ok, so I just found this really funny blog, where this girl went into actual online wedding message forums and listened to their chat, then afterwards she takes all the things she hears and puts them into these really funny little videos...

You're going to have to check this out, it's hilarious....

Tucson HOME Magazine

This past week I had the opportunity to shoot a product shot for Silk Expressions for an upcoming issue of Tucson HOME Magazine. Here's the one they choose to run, along with a close-up I liked from the shoot...

Hey guys, so as some of you might realize I have A ton going on right now, but when a bunch of AZ photog girls asked me to tag along with them to the Pictage Partner Conference in LA, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to learn and have fun, so if you're coming out to it as well, drop me a line and we'll hook up!

See you at Pictage Partner Conference L.A.

Ok... if you know me at all... you know of my insane love for this little deep-fried donut. So as you might have guessed I was EXTREAMLY upset when all the Krispy Kreme stores in Arizona were forced to close up shop. But! One just reopened in Mesa!!! So Joey and I took a road-trip to phoenix last night to grab twelve of these little heaven sent circles...

"The best part of waking up... is Krispy Kreme in your kitchen!" (sing to the foldger's coffee theme music)

Lauren + Andrew

Wow! This post has been a long time in coming, I've been so busy this is the first chance I've had to sit down and put together a blog post.

This was such a sweet intimate wedding I photographed for a childhood friend of mine in Prescott Arizona.

I loved Lauren's ring...

It was a very bright warm sunny day...

Yeah... We're Married!

Aren't they just the cutest couple!

Lauren has such an amazing smile!

The light was just beautiful during their first dance, it was the perfect ending to a perfect day!

And on Sunday we went to DISNEYLAND!! Where we still are today... we're on our way to Cali Adventures for a bit and them back to Disneyland later in the day...

Tacoma Vs. Tucson

Joey hooked us up with some box suite tickets to a sidewinders game tonight, so we went, had our fill of free hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, soda and kettle corn... while watching the game... even though we lost 4-3.... sadness. Joey was excited that he got to see Micah Owings pitch though! Here are a couple pics of us at the game, al la Joey's crappy camera phone! :)

• Inspiring Thursdays •

I've been really slaking on this... so this post is a big one...

So as you might have already guessed, I am a lover of fashion photography... especially vintage fashion photography... I love the grace, elegance and glamour of it! I have tons and tons of books at my house filled with old fashion photographs and constantly flip through them for inspiration... I also love collecting old copies of Vouge and cutting out all my favorite ads. After clipping them out I put them all into a notebook filled with all things that inspire me. Here's just a small sampling of the kind of images that I LOVE!!!

Here are a couple online resources for viewing vintage fashion photos...

My Lil Sis Got Married!

I don't have many pics to show you since I was the maid of honor... and had lots to do, but never fear the awesome Elyse Hall was there to snap away. And she had TONS of cute details to photograph! Kasie did an amazing job planning the wedding, the whole thing was so vintage Hollywood, which fits Kasie to a "T" since she is studying to become a movie director. There were film reels, movie poster's with them posing as the lead actors, director's chairs for them to sit in, and lots of love and laughter. Although I have to say the weather was CRAZY! It was an outdoor wedding and reception and during the ceremony the clouds started rolling in, the winds picked up and it was all I could do to hold onto Kasie's veil to keep it from blowing away in the wind. Then as soon as they were pronounced man and wife lighting struck and thunder cracked and the rain began a downpour as we all ran like mad for cover.... and when I say downpour, I mean like hurricane weather downpour. My grandpa got hit in the head with a falling tree branch and a bunch of the guests got stranded under a gazebo. Luckily Joey's brother Josh was there with an van and umbrellas to usher each stranded guest to shelter.

so after an interesting start Kasie and her now hubby Ryan took off to try and take some photos under awnings and overhangs and any other cover they could find while we went to their hotel to check them in. When we got back the rain had let up to only a slight drizzle and the call was made to keep the reception outdoors as planned instead of moving it inside. Well then while we were setting up it started to rain again... and everyone hoped and prayed for it to stop... and IT DID!!!! As soon as we told the guests to grab some food and take a seat the rain stopped and we had a beautiful evening under the stars, with perfect 75 degree weather!

So as soon as Elyse gets some photos up on her blog I'll let everyone know where they can check em out! Till then here are two photos I was able to grab...

Kasie waiting in her room to walk down the isle... Isn't she gorgeous!

The Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Mccoy taking off to their get away car and a week long honeymoon on a private island! It can't get any better than that!

Ok... I was just going through our suitcases and unpacking them from the weekend and I found one of Kasie's favor's that I just HAD to share with you! When they came down for me to take a couple quick engagement pics we also recreated some famous movie posters for their wedding favors. They came out so cute, and at the reception they had sharpie markers for them to sign memorabilia for people... how Hollywood is that! Here's a scan of one of the posters:
