Hilary + Justin • Engaged

Joey and I had so much fun hanging out with Hilary and Justin the other day, I'm so stoked for their wedding next year. I can't wait!

Ok on with the photos!

We started off downtown...

Love this one...

She has beautiful eyes...

So I almost got hit by a car to get this one... but it was totally worth the shot!

Love these!

Then we took a trip down to the University...

We found this awesome building with cool colored glass to take photos with...

Love it!

Thank you guys so much for hanging out with us!

July + Jeremy

I'm so excited to finally be able to post up some of these photos! I'm in love with what we got at this wedding, all the details of the day just made it so much fun to photograph. Not to mention I'm in love with July, she is such a sweetheart! Their wedding was so perfect and we had a blast! But enough talk on with the photos and I'll just comment as we go along :)

Umm... yeah the light was pretty much awesome this day, not to mention the coolness that was her dress...

I LOVED her flowers, they were gorgeous, Villa Feliz did an amazing job...

One of July's best friends is a make-up artist and he did an AMAZING job for her...

Look how fun her shoes are! I don't know how she could walk in those things!

Ok I posted this one up before but... I REALLY like it, what can I say :)

The awesome Casia came along with me on this one and grabbed that fun shot on the right...

We had lots of time on the wedding day to grab some awesome portraits of July...

She's just a little gorgeous!!!

Then it was time for the wedding...

Married!

Look at that awesome picture Joey grabbed on the left!!! (mine's on the right)

ummm... yeah they are pretty cute...

I LOVE July's eyes... they are so pretty...

The decor for the reception was off the hook!

The whole night was Italian themed!

That's our cute little guest book on the right that we made for them from the engagement photos :)

First dance...

Party time!

We had so much fun at this wedding...

It's Us!

So remember that photo I showed you I took of Casia and her hubby Eric (you know the crazy one with their feet in the tires), well this past weekend Casia took some photos of Joey and I!  It was fun to be on the other side of the camera for a change.  Although I think the two of us (more so Joe) are quite a handful and get easily sidetracked acting goofy lol... But we had a lot of fun taking pics and getting to dress up.  Here's one of my favorites from the shoot (I know you can't see our faces but I promise it's us.. lol)  I'll post up more later.  You can check out the rest of Casia's awesome work at her website: www.purplenickel.com

Lol ignore my logo on this pic, since obviously I didn't take it lol... All credit goes to the awesome Casia :)

The Super-Secret Spy Lens...

Ok... I am not a techie usually... but I do like toys and THIS IS AWESOME! So this new lens attachment thingy lets you point your camera one direction and shoot in the other, so the person you're photographing has no idea you're doing it! How awesomely cool is that! I remember when I did a lot of photojournalism how weird people would get the moment they realized you were taking their photo, THIS WOULD TOTALLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM...

Ok... so if you think this sounds as cool as I do, you can check it out here: SUPER-SECRET SPY LENS

Janelle + Ryan • Sedona

Joey and I had the awesome opportunity to photograph Janelle and Ryan's intimate Sedona wedding with only their closest family in attendance earlier this year. I LOVE small intimate weddings, If I got to marry Joey all over again, it's exactly what I would do. Janelle and I have actually been friends for a VERY long time, since we were about 3 years old I'd say. We used to go to the same church in Phoenix and our moms were best friends. Then when I moved away to Prescott when I was 7 we still saw each other every summer when we would attend the same summer camp... so yeah... we go WAY back! It was also quite funny because Joey has known a family that lives in Sedona for years now and kept telling me that they own a bed and breakfast there. Then when we showed up at Janelle's wedding to start taking photos we realized they were getting married at his friends B&B A Sunset Chateau! What a weird coincidence!? Ok but enough babbling on with some photos!

I found a fun way to hang up Janelle's dress that I was quite proud of...

Isn't this a beautiful spot for a wedding!?

Here comes the bride...

There were a few tears during the wedding...

And also many smiles...

Look how far Ryan has to bend over to meet her! Isn't this cute!

Married!

Taking pictures in Sedona is easy...

Aren't they the cutest!

I love their expressions in that second photo!

Something I've had in my head for a while... Love how it turned out...

It also helped that Janelle could be a model...

I know this one is similar, but there is something about it I love as well..

Look at all the green stuff!!!

LOVE this shot of Janelle, one of my favorite bridal pics ever!
